Summary
Gandhi Automation engineers, manufactures and installs large-format hangar doors and industrial door systems for airports, defence facilities, MRO hangars and aviation infrastructure. It exhibits at 30+ aviation and aerospace shows a year, including major airshows in India and abroad.
We filmed its live client installations in 4K 360° and built a VR experience that puts buyers inside those hangars from the booth. The same experience is used at every show, in 6 countries, with no extra production cost per event.
The brief: you cannot photograph scale
A Gandhi Automation hangar door is 30+ metres wide and 12+ metres tall, and a single installation is a months-long engineering programme. A brochure, photograph or video can suggest that size, but it cannot recreate standing inside a structure that fills an aircraft bay.
The buyers are procurement heads and infrastructure owners who may never visit a live site before deciding. Each purchase is a six-to-twelve month process involving engineering teams, procurement committees and infrastructure directors.

Gandhi Automation needed visitors at its booth to feel the scale, not just read about it. And with 30+ shows a year, the solution had to work at every event without new production each time.
What we built
A 4K 360° virtual reality experience of Gandhi Automation’s live client installations. A viewer puts on a headset and stands inside the hangar, surrounded by the doors at their real size and in real operating conditions.

- 4K 360° capture: high-resolution footage of live client sites that keeps their true scale in every direction
- Several sites in one headset: installations captured in India, Dubai, Indonesia and Malaysia
- A reusable exhibition asset: produced once and needing nothing more than a headset at each show

How it works at the booth
A prospect at an aviation trade show puts on the headset and, within seconds, is standing at a site in Dubai, a facility in Indonesia or a maintenance hangar in India. The scale, depth and operating context that photographs lose are all there.
For buyers who rarely visit sites before signing off, it works as a site visit on demand, without leaving the show floor.

Results
- One production, used at 30+ exhibitions a year across 6 countries
- No production cost per event and no dedicated exhibition infrastructure beyond a headset
- The content does not date and does not need rebuilding
- Buyers experience the doors at real size at the point of decision
Frequently asked questions
Which installations does the VR experience show?
Live Gandhi Automation client sites captured in India, Dubai, Indonesia and Malaysia.
What is needed to run it at a show?
Only a VR headset. No other exhibition infrastructure is required.
Can you film our installations in 360° VR?
Yes. Talk to our team about the sites and products you want buyers to see.
Why did Gandhi Automation choose a 360° VR experience for its exhibitions?
Gandhi Automation chose a 360° VR experience because its hangar doors are 30+ metres wide and 12+ metres tall and cannot be brought to a booth. Photos and brochures cannot recreate that scale. The 4K 360° VR film lets buyers stand inside real installations, and it works at all 30+ shows a year without new production.
How many exhibitions does Gandhi Automation use its VR experience at?
Gandhi Automation uses its 4K 360° VR experience at 30+ aviation and aerospace exhibitions a year, across 6 countries. It was produced once by Metaverse911 and has no production cost per event. The content does not date or need rebuilding, so buyers experience the doors at real size at the point of decision.
