For plants with a dojo

Digital Dojo

A dojo is where new operators learn the basics before going to the line. Our Digital Dojo turns it into a modular training centre with VR stations, 3D-printed models, touch screens, sensor-based exercises and AI trainers. Trainees learn by seeing, doing and getting instant feedback.

  • Covers standard dojo modules: safety, quality, 5S, tools, assembly
  • VR simulations of your actual machines and processes
  • Scores and reports for every trainee
  • Set up inside your plant, or as a mobile dojo

Case study: Spark Minda converted its physical dojo set-up into an Immersive Dojo covering all nine dojo principles.

More about digital dojo

DOJO 2.0 smart digital training platform for manufacturing using VR, AR, MR and sensor-based immersive learning.

What the Digital Dojo is

Traditional dojo rooms depend heavily on trainers, track progress by hand and struggle to hold trainees' attention. The Digital Dojo keeps the dojo idea but changes how it is delivered. Trainees move between VR headsets, AR tablets, kiosks, LED screens and sensor-based stations, and learn by doing rather than by listening.

Behind the stations sits the DOJO M911 platform. It records every session, assessment and skill score automatically, so plant and L&D teams can see who has been trained, on what, and how well.

Who it is for

  • Plants that already run a dojo and want to reduce trainer dependency.
  • L&D heads who need skill data across one plant or the whole company.
  • Safety and quality teams who want hands-on practice before trainees reach the line.
  • Companies that want a mobile dojo they can move between sites.

How it works

The dojo modules

  • Know your company: a VR tour of the plant.
  • Safety dojo: sensor-based training stations.
  • Product dojo: an AR product shelf.
  • Maintenance dojo: lift-and-learn tools.
  • Process dojo: AR on miniature components.
  • Ergonomics dojo: AR posture coaching.

Modules also cover the standard dojo topics of safety, quality, 5S, tools and assembly, with VR simulations of your actual machines and processes.

Tracking every learner

Each trainee is enrolled and logs in with a PIN at every kiosk, VR, AR and MR station. Every training and assessment attempt is recorded with the trainee's ID, score, time taken and completion status. The platform tracks:

  • Module completion rate.
  • Time spent on each module.
  • Assessment scores and accuracy.
  • Repeat attempts and how often each trainee practises.

Deployment

The platform can run on-premise, on a private cloud or cloud-hosted. Content and learner records can stay on your own infrastructure, connect to your LMS and follow your IT and data security policies.

What is included

The Digital Dojo is offered as Training as a Service, an operating-cost subscription. Plants do not buy and manage hardware, software and content separately. The subscription covers:

  • Hardware: VR and MR headsets, tablets, sensors, kiosks and media players.
  • Software: the DOJO M911 platform, dojo modules, assessment engine and dashboards.
  • Content: VR tours, AR product content, sensor-led scenarios and module updates over time.
  • Support: platform updates, maintenance, analytics tuning and rollout of best practice.

Your team focuses on trained associates, safety scores and skill coverage, while we handle the technology, upgrades and scale.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to buy the hardware?

No. Under the Training as a Service model, headsets, tablets, sensors, kiosks and media players are part of the subscription.

Can the dojo be set up outside our plant?

Yes. It can be set up inside your plant or as a mobile dojo.

What data does the platform record?

Every attempt is logged with the trainee's ID, score, time and completion status. Dashboards show completion rates, time per module, scores and accuracy, and repeat attempts.

Can it work with our LMS and IT policies?

Yes. It can run on-premise, on a private cloud or cloud-hosted, integrate with your LMS and follow your IT and data security policies.

Which training modules are included in the Metaverse911 Digital Dojo?

The Metaverse911 Digital Dojo includes a Know your company VR plant tour, a safety dojo with sensor-based stations, a product dojo with an AR product shelf, a maintenance dojo with lift-and-learn tools, a process dojo using AR on miniature components and an ergonomics dojo with AR posture coaching.
