Anamorphic 4D content for LED walls
Anamorphic content makes your product look like it is coming out of the screen. On a corner (L-shape) or curved LED wall, visitors see a 3D illusion without glasses. It gets people to stop at your booth and film it on their phones.
- Flat, L-shape (90°), inward L and curved LED wall formats
- Built from your CAD files, product photos and brand story
- Typical film length 30–90 seconds, looped for the show
- Content sized to the exact LED wall at your venue
Used by: PI Industries (Chemspec Europe), Experian (Global Fintech Fest, 4,000 visitors in 2 days), C-DOT (IMC 2025), Gulf Oil (EXCON 2025), Avantec (ACREX 2026), Aadhaar, Government of Maharashtra.
More about anamorphic 4d content for led walls

What anamorphic content is
Anamorphic content is video built with forced perspective. From one viewing angle, 3D objects appear to break out of the LED wall and into the aisle. The technique goes back to Renaissance painting and has been adapted for high-resolution digital walls.
At an exhibition it has one job: to pull passing visitors across the aisle to your booth. Visitors often film the illusion and share it, which carries your booth beyond the show floor. Two things decide whether the illusion works: accurate mapping of the space before production, and a pixel pitch fine enough that visitors cannot see individual diodes from where they stop.
Who it is for
- Exhibitors who need to stand out on a busy show floor.
- Brands launching or revealing a new product.
- Large stands that want a stage, demo zone or small experience zone.
- Organisations telling a long company story in a short loop.
Where it goes on the booth
- Aisle-facing walls inside the booth.
- Outside fascia hoardings that catch foot traffic.
- Stage and demo zones for live presentations.
- Brand activations built around the illusion.
- Product launch reveals.
- Small experience zones inside large enterprise stands.
How it works
Choosing the wall shape
The booth footprint and visitor flow decide which of six configurations fits best.
- L-shape corner: the most used configuration for high-impact stands, because the 90-degree corner gives the strongest sense of depth.
- Flat fascia: suits linear booths where visitors see the wall only from the front.
- Double-sided: for island booths where visitors arrive from opposite aisles.
- U-shape: three walls of content that surround visitors for storytelling.
- Curved arc: a flowing look that suits luxury and architectural exhibitors.
- Hybrid: a combination for irregular booths where one shape will not fit.
From plan to show day
- Three weeks before the show: we survey the booth, including its dimensions, ceiling height, hall lighting and the main angle visitors approach from.
- Two weeks before: the LED panels are bench-tested for dead pixels and the content is rendered for the confirmed viewing angle.
- Build day: panels are assembled, content is mapped to the wall and brightness is calibrated against the actual hall lights, which are usually 40 to 60 percent brighter than studio rendering conditions.
- Before opening: we test the illusion from three positions on the visitor approach path.
The hardware
When the closest visitors stop less than 5 metres from the wall, we usually use P2.5 or P3 pixel pitch panels. A P4 panel costs less but visibly pixelates the illusion at close range.
A media server handles 3D playback, pixel mapping and synchronisation across the panels. For L-shape and U-shape walls it must be able to slice content per panel. A graphics workstation is used to create the content off-site and load it onto the server. On show day, a calibration kit covers brightness, colour matching across panel batches and seam alignment.

Where it has been used
PI Industries used an L-shaped anamorphic display to tell 80 years of innovation at Chemspec Europe 2025, where Novopor also used an anamorphic LED wall. C-DOT used one at IMC 2025, Gulf Oil at EXCON 2025 and Avantec at ACREX 2026. Experian's booth at Global Fintech Fest welcomed 4,000 visitors in 2 days. Aadhaar and the Government of Maharashtra, at India AI Impact Summit 2026, also used L-shape anamorphic walls.
Frequently asked questions
What is an anamorphic LED display?
It is an LED wall that plays video built with forced perspective, so that from one viewing angle objects seem to come out of the screen. Visitors see the 3D effect without glasses.
Where is anamorphic content used?
Mostly at exhibitions and events: on booth walls facing the aisle, on outside fascia hoardings, on stages and demo zones, and for product launch reveals.
What is pixel pitch and why does it matter?
Pixel pitch is the distance between the LEDs on a panel. If it is too large, visitors close to the wall see individual diodes and the illusion breaks. For stopping distances under 5 metres we usually use P2.5 or P3 panels.
Which industries use anamorphic LED at trade shows?
Our clients include chemical companies (PI Industries, Novopor), telecom (C-DOT), lubricants (Gulf Oil), HVAC (Avantec), fintech (Experian) and government bodies (Aadhaar, Government of Maharashtra).
How long is a typical film, and when should we start?
A typical film runs 30–90 seconds and loops for the show. Our installation process starts three weeks before the show opens.
