At IMTOS 2025 in New Delhi we gave Monotech Engineers three booth technologies: a HoloBox911 holographic welcome, an interactive touch panel showing its machines in 3D, and an anamorphic 3D LED wall.

Monotech Engineers, established in Ghaziabad in 1991, makes sheet metal machinery and reports installations in more than 45 countries. Its range includes hydraulic press brakes, shearing machines, plate rolling machines, EOT cranes and special purpose machines, used in automotive, defence, railways and heavy engineering.

Its machines are too large to bring to a stand in any number, and buyers walking the aisles come from automotive, aerospace, defence and manufacturing. The booth had to catch them from the aisle and then show the range in detail.

Summary

Monotech Engineers asked us to equip its booth at IMTOS 2025, the 10th India Machine Tools Show, at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi. We built three things: a HoloBox with a life-size welcome from CEO Mr Pallav Aggarwal, a touch panel showing the full machine range in 3D, and anamorphic 3D content on a P2 LED screen at the front of the booth.

The brief

The show

IMTOS is a biennial trade show for machine tools, automation and engineering machinery, organised by K and D Communication Limited. The 10th edition brought together 500+ exhibitors from 14+ countries and over 50,000 trade visitors, with buyers from automotive, aerospace, defence, manufacturing and infrastructure. With that many stands, a booth has to catch visitors before they reach it.

The client

Established in 1991, Monotech Engineers makes sheet metal machinery and has installations in 45+ countries. Its range includes hydraulic press brakes, shearing machines, plate rolling machines, EOT cranes and special purpose machines, used in automotive, defence, railways and heavy engineering.

Three objectives

Monotech's leadership set three goals for the show:

  • A strong leadership presence: Mr Aggarwal wanted to welcome every visitor and explain Monotech's vision across all 4 days, without being tied to the booth every hour.
  • Product education: the machines are large and complex, and the full range could never be brought to the show floor.
  • Visual impact from the main aisle, to pull visitors in from a distance.

What we built

Digital life-sized display of a man in a suit inside a white rectangular frame, at an industrial-style exhibition booth with a few people sitting and talking in the background.

HoloBox: a life-size welcome from the CEO

We installed a HoloBox, a transparent holographic display, in a prominent spot inside the booth. A pre-recorded message from Mr Aggarwal played continuously as a photorealistic, life-size hologram, visible without special glasses.

Large red industrial machine with a control panel touchscreen display on the left and a woman walking nearby in a floral shirt and wide jeans.

Touch panel: the full machine range in 3D

An interactive touch panel held high-fidelity 3D models of Monotech's complete machine range. Visitors could rotate each model, zoom into internal components, see how the machine works and read the technical specifications at their own pace.

Busy exhibition booth of Mono-Tech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. with visitors in front and company signage overhead.

Anamorphic 3D content on a P2 LED screen

We created custom anamorphic content for a P2 LED screen on the front fascia of the booth. Using forced perspective, machinery and branded visuals appeared to break out of the screen in 3D, visible from the main aisle.

Holographic display of a man in a suit presenting, placed next to a red and black industrial machine with a control panel.

How it worked on the day

Each piece handled one stage of the visitor's path through the booth:

  • Attraction: the anamorphic LED content drew people in from the aisle before they reached the booth.
  • Connection: the HoloBox gave every visitor a personal message from the CEO, across all 4 days.
  • Education: the 3D touch panel let visitors explore complex machines on their own.

Results

The booth covered all three objectives at IMTOS 2025. The CEO greeted visitors for the full 4 days without being at the booth, the whole machine range was on show without shipping a single machine, and the booth had a clear visual hook on a floor of 500+ exhibitors.

About the solution

Anamorphic 4D content for LED walls

Anamorphic content makes your product look like it is coming out of the screen. On a corner (L-shape) or curved LED wall, visitors see a 3D illusion without glasses. It is the fastest way to get people to stop at your booth and film it on their phones.

  • Flat, L-shape (90°), inward L and curved LED wall formats
  • Built from your CAD files, product photos and brand story
  • Typical film length 30–90 seconds, looped for the show
  • Content sized to the exact LED wall at your venue

HoloBox: life-size hologram display

HoloBox is an 86-inch 4K transparent display that shows a person or product as a life-size hologram. Use it to bring your managing director to a conference live from another city, or to run an AI avatar that answers visitor questions at your booth, in several languages.

  • Live two-way holographic streaming of leaders and experts
  • AI avatar trained on your product catalogue and FAQs
  • 3D product showcases and interactive quizzes
  • Available to buy or rent for an event

About IMTOS 2025

IMTOS, the India Machine Tools Show, is a trade exhibition for machine tools and industrial manufacturing technology. It is a selling floor rather than a conference: the machines on show are capital equipment that other factories buy, and visitors are mostly the engineers, production managers and owners who specify and sign for them.

Dates, venue and organiser

  • Edition: 10th
  • Dates: 11–14 July 2025, as given by independent exhibition directories and the venue listing (the organiser’s own page does not state dates)
  • Venue: Hall 2, Yashobhoomi, India International Convention & Expo Centre, Sector 25, Dwarka, New Delhi
  • Organiser: K and D Communication Limited, Ahmedabad
  • Entry: trade visitors, free on prior registration, according to exhibition directories

Earlier editions were associated with Pragati Maidan, but the organiser names Yashobhoomi for 2025. No visitor or exhibitor count has been published after the show, so this page gives none.

What the show covers

The organiser publishes 27 exhibitor categories. In groups, they are:

  • Machine tools for cutting and forming, laser machinery, machine tool accessories, forging machinery, and tube and pipe technology
  • Robotics and automation, additive manufacturing, CAD-CAM and other software, and electronics
  • Welding, surface finishing, foundry equipment and brass parts
  • Metrology, testing and measuring instruments, tools, industrial safety and supplies
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics, compressors, pumps and valves, gears and drives, material handling, and newly launched products

For 2025 the organiser named laser and welding technology, brass parts, and castings and foundries as special-focus areas, with an exclusive display on robotics, automation and metrology. The programme also listed buyer-seller meets and seminars, and the show is positioned for MSMEs and start-ups. Visiting industries named by the organiser include automotive, aerospace, defence, pharmaceuticals and railways.

What we built for Monotech Engineers

Monotech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. of Ghaziabad makes sheet metal forming machinery: press brakes from 30 to 800 tonnes, shearing machines, plate rolling machines, power and hydraulic presses, laser cutting and panel bending machines, EOT cranes and lifting magnets. It is not connected to Monotech Systems Limited, a separate printing and packaging company.

Its stand at Yashobhoomi carried three technologies from us:

  • HoloBox911 holographic welcome: Pallav Aggarwal of Monotech Engineers was recorded in one capture session before the show. We isolated, graded and mastered the footage, and it played on loop from hall open to hall close for all four days, about 32 floor hours, with no live link and no operator.
  • Interactive touch panel: Monotech’s machine range in 3D, for visitors to explore
  • Anamorphic 3D LED wall: to draw attention from the aisle

The HoloBox911 is an 86-inch 4K transparent LCD, seen at full height without headsets or 3D glasses under normal hall lighting. The hologram content at this show was the welcome only, not a machinery demonstration.

Visitors at the Monotech Engineers stand at IMTOS 2025, with the HoloBox911 unit playing the recorded welcome beside red sheet metal machinery on the show floor.
